Second opinion

Thank you to everyone for their input. I have scheduled an appointment with a very knowledgeable oncologist at the University of Colorado cancer clinic right after I get back from visiting the new baby.
I also have a stress test and an echo scheduled for mid-July. I have continued to walk a minimum of 45 minutes everyday and do yoga twice a week. Before recurrence I worked out at the gym 3-4 times a week and was riding and running 15-20 miles a week, so I think my heart should be back to normal soon.
Anyway, I just feel very uncomfortable discontinuing Herceptin at this time. Maybe I am just paranoid, but I have not seen anything to indicate that I should stop right now.
My husband and I went to a workshop "Couples Facing Cancer" yesterday and we both found it really helpful. If any of you have a chance to attend a similar workshop, I highly recommend it.
Will keep you posted as to what the other onc says.

You've mentioned about the stress test and echo. It is pretty much standard procedure during chemo - to make sure your heart is functioning well. I had to drop out at 23 weeks into chemo/Herceptin because my Muga had dropped. I think whenever the score drops more than 10%, the treatment is temporarily halted until the heart recovered.
