Red face You KNOW it's bad when I come here just for a bit of GOOD news!!!!

I'm sorry, but the "news" in general (economic specifically) is so depressing that I find more of a "respite" when I come here. I hope all of you are well during these "trying" times. Take care and God bless.

and to you Rhonda

We're family -- doesn't matter economically where things are, we're not here for the money...we are here for each other, and you. I pray that things get better soon because all of this does have a ripple effect. Take care!

Yep Rhonda...what Vi said. You're right, it is depressing if we think on it and watch the news but in the whole scheme of things it isn't important at all. Afterall, when it's all over, it's our relationships with our loving Savior and each other that matters. The rest - well - who the heck knows. I am simply trusting in my God to care for me and I know He will. Even if things are really bad I know He's their.

That's what gets me through these tough days and other tough days/events that have come my way.

So glad you came here for a her2support.org HUG. Isn't this just the greatest support group ever.

Hugging Rhonda gently but with lots of love,

Mary Jo

sending a hug from here too. things are tough here but we'll make it. what's even more depressing is hearing on the news today about those execs who spent $500k of the company's money on vacations.

It won't last forever

Hi Rhonda,

Yes, it is pretty bleak. It is so bad that the news presenter a few days ago said 'if you don't want to know the answer look away now' before he did the stockmarket report! Normally they only do that for soccer matches if the highlights are on later so that fans don't see the result before they watch the edited down games.

Sometimes it just helps to turn the news off for a bit, but I guess that isn't much of an option if you are keeping up with the candidates.

Best wishes,

Christine
