incompetence
I work in our school vafe, and on tuesday when the milk man was making a delivery he told us that he might not be there today. (he wasn't). His wife has heart problems, and had to have a pacemaker put in a year or so ago.) She's maybe in 40s I think, though not real sure. Just know she is young to be having those kinds of problems). Anyway, he said that she had to go in for just a routine breast exam and because of the pacemaker her doctor had ordered an ultrasound instead of mammo. Well they did the mammo anyway, told her it would be okay. It wasn't and it dislodged the pacemaker. She was getting shocked where she wasn't supposed to be. They were going to have to go in and redo her pacemaker and the hospital was being charged with negligence(sp?). They were hoping to get her surgery scheduled for this week and if he wasn't there today, they got it scheduled. Just one more horror story to add to the mix.
