2 years and counting
Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of Diagnosis of Stage I, ER/PR-, Her2+++. After chemo, rads and herceptin, I am doing very well. I wanted to celebrate like I did last year but I've had an allergic reaction to a flu shot that has me a little under the weather, so hubby and I are going to do something special next weekend. Things look so much better to me now than they did 2 years ago. To all those newly diagnosed folks out there, hang in there, life can get better! BERTA

Congratulations Berta on reaching yet another fabulous milestone. Sorry about the reaction to the flu vaccine but soon you will celebrate. My diagnosis is the same as yours and I just started my Herceptin in late August, 2006 so it is very encouraging to hear your good news. Continued good health.
