Unhappy tumor markers test tomorrow

hello, everyone well tomorrow i will be going in for my first tumor marker since being off my weekly herceptin tx. it will be 3mos. I am totally freaking out about it i pray i will be ok. they have always ran in the low range like 5-9 i go every three mos. plus nov is my big mo.. i will have a bunch of scans done.does anyone else have bone or joint pain all the time? i just keep saying it is from all my chemo and herceptin. plus it has been cold here so maybe that is why. i am due for my bone scan in nov. i feel like i can just throw up right know.i hate this new life i had to adjust to the what ifs is just killing me.i am fine right up to today then freak out i am scared again.thanks again for all the great support and letting me vent. kerry stage3-b dx 10-01-04 31 yrs.old

Hi Kerry, I am with you, I hate this new life! I try to be positive most of the time, but I really do hate this new life. I have not even verbalized that, but reading your sentence brought it to my consciousness. Good luck with your tumour markers and the rest of your tests. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know the results.

Kerry,

I'm on Herceptin and since I started it I have severe bone/joint pain. Had all the tumor marker tests, MRI, bone scan, PET/CT scan and everything is A-OK. I believe the pain is a side effect of the Herceptin. My pain management doctor said that the number one side effect of Herceptin is joint/bone pain. Try not to worry - easier said than done I know. Wishing you the best.
