It's Janelle from Dory's Board. Tell your friend that there is always hope and tell her that she can feel free to email me (thru you if necessary) anytime she needs to talk.

Orig dx 1/96, lumpectomy, 3 nodes pos., chemo and rads. All ok until I was dx w/mets to liver (too many to count) and 2 lung mets in March 03. After trying chemo, which almost killed me we switched to Herceptin. As of March 04, all turmors are gone! Left with a badly damaged liver, but no cancer. Some liver cells are regenerating, so there is even more hope.

Herceptin was a life saver to me and I say NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT! Sending positive thoughts and prayers to your friend.

Hugs,
Janelle
