I've been on Lupron for close to a year and I get my shot every 3 months (yours in likely every 3 months too. It used to be monthly until they came out with the "lupron depot" product that is good for 3 months).

As far as reactions, sometimes I get a painful lump at the injection site, but that seems to depend on the skill of the nurse who gives it to me. Sometimes it only hurts a little -- if I press hard on that spot and sometimes it hurts like heck. I just had a hot on Wednesday and this one isn't so bad.

The longer term side effects are really just related to menopausal symptoms - like hot flashes, weight gain, @#%&@#l dryness, etc. I've found all of those issues managable, really. I don't like having to be in this menopausal state at age 34, but I figure it is the price I have to pay for my health.

All in all, lupron has been pretty easy for me. I hope your experience is similar!!

Wishing you all the best.
Love and hugs,
Lauren
