05 to 07
Well, PinkGirl did it. Today, Sept 7th, I am a 2 year survivor.
I have already started celebrating by putting some honey in my morning coffee!!! The plan for the rest of the day involves spending some money. I want and need a new monitor for my computer, and I want and need a new cell phone. So it will be honey and electronics for me today!
I did not celebrate last year because on Sept 7/06 I was still on treatments. I didn't feel like a survivor; I felt like I was still fighting the beast.
I think I'll get my husband to take me out for supper. Hopefully I won't make myself so tired that I won't be able to go to the yard sales tomorrow morning.
