I finished a year of weekly taxol/herceptin about 15 months ago. Two months ago I had a gall bladder attack and had emergency surgery to have it removed. Then last week I woke up @ one in the morning with awful pain in the side. Ended up with emergency appendectomy. None of my doctors think this is cancer related but I am wondering about long term effects of Herceptin. What do we really know? I am only 45 and would not have expected this. (Ironically, in between the two surgeries, there was a third surgery to put pins in my hand from a fall!) I've gotten to the point where I don't want to tell anyone I'm in the hopital! Getting off track.... ANYONE else have anything like this?

Sounds coincidental but after three spells of bad luck you should be right now. (I don't think any of them are related to your chemo or your cancer.)
