Cool Tykerb-Herceptin update #2

Just had my herceptin infusion today and had a follow up with my oncologist and his visit to the tumor board. The consensus is that the tykerb-herceptin is keeping the lung nodule in check and so I will continue with that treatment. He will continue to watch the little spot on the other side...no need for lung biopsy and no cyberknife at this time. He said that cyberknife remains a possibility for the little area and also now the larger one in the future. I was so glad to hear that! Pet scan showed no other activity. He said you can do your treatments in Florida in the months ahead. Happy New Year. So, I will be leaving Michigan and our 4 inches of new snow....eventually and go down to Florida in search of sun, sand, and Vitamin D. Ceesun

Good plan! Go to Florida and send cyber-sun to all of us. But the first real ray of sun is that T&H is keeping everything under control. Michka
