Facebook???
I saw someone's post just now noting something about Facebook - but I thought - gosh! Would love to see more of us on Facebook --- I'm on and I try to visit it everyday - but would be nice to see if those who are on Facebook - could put their info on the signature line so we could start connecting there too?
I find that the email portion here on this site is okay - but I tend to lose notes as I type them (site times out) and then the space is not big - and I haven't figured out how to delete only portions of the emails - seems you have to delete all....
? Anyway - I'm changing my signature to add Facebook...
thoughts from you all?
Karen

Re: Facebook???
Hey girl, I broke down and started a Facebook account, I am private and paranoid since identity theft in the early '80's. I do not talk cancer there because I connect with friends and I like them to keep up with 'Marie'. Besides, anyone who is anyone is right her at Her2support! Use my Yahoo e-mail if you want my full name (+yours), I have to empty my full mailbox here.>>Believe51

Re: Facebook???
Marie - I totally agree - on the Identity stuff - thats why my Facebook and Her2 is Karen Wheel. But also, I didn't answer any of the stuff that Facebook wanted me to post there - I only put my bare basics there as they do really it out there, so to speak. And, working in Information technology and with x-hackers for years in the US (McAfee and Cisco Systems) one should be careful what you post out on line. With Facebook I have a ton of photos and I post personal stuff (same as you said) I don't talk cancer as, well, many of my friends still don't know I have faced this ... and since many of my friends from the US - they just share info on Facebook, so I don't want to send them a note and say - hey! Did you hear I have (had!) breast cancer - and BTW its Her2 and well, I might be f-d!? So, yah, I leave it out! :-) hee hee.
I don't have your email - I did send your mom a note as I wanted to send you some stuff that might help Ed. So send me a note - at karen_mppseattle@hotmail.com.
THANKS! Karen

Re: Facebook???
I sent you a friend request - and hey - I'm the same way - I just blame it all on the drugs! :-)
OH! And my email -for you Marie ---
try wheelistic@yahoo.com
As.... my other email - doesn't show up correct - as it underlines the entire email address - and my hotmail has a "underscore" between the karen and the mppseattle... and it doesn't show up when the post on the thread shows...
Okay, I'm losing it!
;-)

Re: Facebook???
I just joined the Facebook Group as I just joined this group the other day. I'm on facebook often. Also, I'll be taking my laptop to my chemo/herceptin treatments. My laptop, facebook and your group will be my "comfort item". I had my laptop with me just before surgery and it was great. It seems like WiFi is everywhere!
