Arm pain

A few days after my ct scan, I developed arm pain in the arm that they injected the contrast in to. It took the nurse several tries to find a vein and I was very bruised afterwards.

Could I be having a reaction to the contrast? Has this happened to anyone else? It is very sore.

Thanks,
Tonya

Yes, it has. It's most likely from the nurse having to stick you more than once, or could be from the IV in your arm. I've had occaisions where blood vessels would just pop in my hand or arm for no apparent reasons. I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you..sherryg683

Hi Tonya!
Can you zip by and let someone look at your arm to check for you? I'm such a baby. I want to know what everything is.
Have you gotten your scan results yet?
Thinking good thoughts for good results!
