Hi everyone! I'm Debbie. At age 51 I had a .9 cm malignant lump (ductal carcinoma) in one breast " and so to be on the ""safe"" side I had a double mastectomy. No lymph nodes showed cancer. I went on Tamoxifen (no chemo). Three years later (April 2003) the cancer had returned and metastized to my liver and breast bone--near the original site. I had been on Taxotere" Herceptin and Zometa until the beginning of November 2003. Now I am only on Herceptin and Zometa. My hair is growning back but I am getting numbness in my fingers toes and the right side of my chin. I know others get this. Could it mean the cancer is in my back or brain?
