Thank you all for your advice. I have an appt with a new surgeon in two days. I was able to get in with her within 3 days of calling. The surgeon that is holding things up is wonderful, very qualified, and his work is beautiful. However, what good is all of that going to do me if it takes 'too long'. I'm mostly disappointed in the office staff of that surgeon. They have no concern that I first consulted with him on 9/24, and now they tell me I need a new consult because they won't be able to do surgery within 30 days of the first, 9/24, consult. They can't get me in until 10/26 for the next consult then surgery 2-3 weeks after. That means the middle of November. I have to move on. Here's to hoping the new surgeon can schedule something within a week...or sooner. Thank you all!!!!
