Re: Gasping for breath...

Ok, hello, everyone. Harpreet here. Geeta's brother and Gaver's son. I just wanted to let you all know that mom's staples were removed yesterday. And it was a very good day. We breathed easy and even prepared for the upcoming festival of Diwali that is next week. Today mom was going to go and meet a diabetologist and ask him questions on the TCH regime she is beginning on 16th.

However...

Today morning after her bath she noticed that the wound has a small opening of about an inch in the suture line.

It has no bleeds but it is open and so we are rushing her to casualty. Has anyone gone through this? Is this a sign of any complication? Will she require further stitches or just a sterie strip or a bandage? Should we push the chemo date back - I was constantly telling the doctor that she should be allowed some time to heal and we should start her chemo around November end at least, but he was insistent that the chemo start soon. I don't know what to do. If anyone could please advise.
