Reading your posts, every one of them, gives me hope and faith. I am Liz T, Mary Ann D's sister of the heart and friend forever. She would have derived great joy in reading these posts, she loved you all... I am not (and pray I will never be) stage 4, I was dxed in May, 1999, had 19 positive nodes and was told by first surgeon "you have 18 months to live". Yesterday I was informed by onc that I am still NED, Praise the Lord!!!... I discovered, through sisters like all of you and my dear Mary Ann , that bc is not a death sentence. There is life after dx. So sisters, thank you for telling your stories... Bless you all, this is a tough journey, but, we are not alone. So many shoulders to lean on, so many voices raised in prayer, and so many survivors saying NO to the beast and YES to life.
