Penny, I totally understand the anxiety of "waiting", as I've experienced it several times over the past few years.

I think it is good that you can continue on the Xeloda for now; that may be doing some good in the meantime. So you are not, so to speak, "naked" for too long.

While I was "waiting" for TDM1, I was on zero treatment for well over a month while the lawyers finished the paperwork on the trial. It was agony! But once I got going, the TDM1 slapped everything into remission and held me at NED for nearly 2 years.

So yes, it's hard to wait. Double check with your oncologist, but my guess is she feels comfortable with the current "holding pattern". And remember, Xeloda is a potent agent in its own right.
