Off topic: Antidepressants

Some of us here take Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors--SRI. I take 10 mg lexapro, which is not a high dose. I went up to 10 because 5 wasn't working. Does anyone here have the constant hunger/carb craving that sometimes comes with this drug. How do you handle it. I lost 54 pounds last year that I gained during treatment. Since I started the 10 mg of Lex, I've gained 20. I've lost my "No", as in "No, you don't eat three ice cream bars and a couple of cupcakes." I'm thinking of cutting back to 3/4 of a tablet. I'm estrogen positive and fat has estrogen. My oncologist and GP are very clear about the risks of being an overweight cancer survivor. I absolutely need the antidepressant. How do people handle the food cravings on SRIs.
