I read this report when it came out too. Fortunately, I do not interpret the results to mean that we should avoid fruit. Fruit is not comprised of fructose alone but instead offers antioxidants, phytochemicals and fiber-all of which are known to be anti-cancer. I think the message the article/study is sending is a repeat of what we already know with a little added detail in regards to pancreatic tumor cells. We already know that a diet high in sugar is not healthful. I have no doubt that high fructose corn syrup is not good for us. I recommend a diet very low in processed foods which eliminates most HFCS.
