I'm looking for some input here. I was diagnosed with liver mets in Feb 04 I was jaundiced my eyes were yellow and terribly sick when I began treatment.

The treatment consisted of Navelbine/Herceptin/Xeloda. My liver enzymes went back to normal in 2 months. Right now I feel great. My energy level is up I don't feel sick at all. I'm scheduled to have a cat scan 8/25 to determine the status of the tumors on my liver prior to making a final decision on whether or not to participate in this trial. My indecision is that in order to pursue this trial I would need to discontinue the Navelbine/Xeloda combo that has been working so well for me.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Would there be potential personal benefits in discontinuing the chemo portion of my treatment to pursue the vaccine trial? I'm on the fence about this " not sure if this is a case of ""if it's not broken" " don't fix it""

Thanks for any input!"
