Re: Terrible time with Taxotere??

We all react in different degrees. I had taxotere and would feel pain two days after treatment especially in my shins and legs. My whole body felt like I was hit with a bat. I would soak in a warm tub and then put heating pads on my legs. I also found that putting a pillow under my legs helped. This would last about three days and then start to let up. I also found taking alieve was helpful.

Drink fluids and keep flushing your body which is very helpful. Strange as it sounds, I found moving to be helpful. By third day I was feeling better. Call your dr.
if the pain continues.

Best wishes,
Jean
