Of course clinical trials will be needed to show how effectively Bazedoxifene is in stopping breast cancer growth, but the intriguing aspect of this study is that Her2+ Lapatinib resistant tumors were also stopped by the drug.

This news reminds me of the buzz a few years ago about bisphosphonates positively impacting breast cancers. Haven't heard much more about that lately. Perhaps there will be news in the future confirming what this study believes to be the impact on breast cancer, particularly Her2+.---bird
