My daughter's onc advised us today that the Temodar/Avastin treatment isn't working and wants to put her on just Tykerb w/o the Xeloda. She also mentioned her having another series of WBR for her brain mets b/c they have increased in size and I'm against it based on what I've read here. The onc said she has too many tumors for gamma knife and that gamma knife doesn't extend life! I've read differently here and online too. Please give me your two cents worth on this if you will.
