Joni--One way of looking at statistics in these reports is to realize that even with the groups that may be reported as not doing as well as the others, they still showed benefit. What's to say if you fall within the less favorable group, you still won't be one of those who benefits? The take away message I got from this particular abstract is that the overall survival rates between the ER- and ER+ groups was the same which means one must give the treatments a chance to help even if you are HR-.

Good luck with your chemo tomorrow. Be sure to take the nausea premeds you nurse and doctor have recommended. They will help. Been there done that--bird
