The etiology of human breast cancer is complex and still poorly understood.
Carcinogenesis is frequently influenced by environmental factors, and epidemiological surveys have implicated diet as one of the most important factors;
the major nutrient substance associated with increased breast cancer risk is dietary fat [1, 2]. The data linking dietary fat and human breast carcinogenesis are mainly epidemiological.
