I read in one of my pharmacy journals that a Vitamin D level of 40-60 nanograms per ml of vitamin D was valuable for prevention. This author stated for treatment of already established breast cancer the level should be raised to 80ng/ml Vitamin D (active metabolite. This sounds a bit high but apparently isn't toxic.
