A remarkable woman
I wanted to tell you more about a woman who I was honored to meet at the Surviving This Cancer art show. Barbara Jo Kirshbaum is not a survivor herself but has been participating in Avon Walks for Breast Cancer since 1998. She has participated in 85 long distance walks so far and has raised $820,000!!!! She has already committed to 15 walks in 2008. Her goal is 100 walks and $1 million... She is 68 years old and is a beautiful woman. Her motto is "I walk because I can't walk away".
