Man...we need to at least properly vet the folks doing the research. If they fudge their resume, just might be likely to fudge the research.
As good as the cell based profiles seem, still need to understand the broader effects of these drugs beyond the observed cells. And I'd love to see these cell based testst fully investigate hormonal and alternative approaches..to cut down on the abusive side of treatment and increase the toolset.
But yeah...relying on trial and error without much understanding of the workings makes for a lot of delays and wasted resources...and way too much suffering. But instead of dwelling on Coke or Pepsi, maybe the answer is finding a way to get rid of the bottle opener.
