Thanks Tricia.....I have decided to stop the Effexor. I am not a "pill" person at all and honestly can't believe I even called my GYN to go on the Effexor. I guess after not sleeping well for a few nights, because of so darn many hot flashes, got the best of me and I wanted them to stop. Even if the Effexor would have helped, eventually, I would have had to stop and then I'd have to go through the weaning of that. Not something I wanted to do. I will hope the flashes end or ease up soon.

Thanks for your post AND CONGRATS on quitting smoking. The BEST thing you could have done for yourself.
