Just to give you an update....

No doubt prayer has uplifted Zane and his family.

Zane is now in rehab--though not getting acute care that he needs because of----you guessed it----INSURANCE.

We thank God that he is physically recovering very well, and is cognitively recovering well also. Every day sees significant improvement--but he still has a long road ahead. Dealing with his frustration may be the hardest thing.

An internist who has followed Zane's case since he was brought to the hospital told the family that on the day of his arrive this notation was made on his chart: "Not expected to survive. If he does survive, there will be nothing." I guess God and Zane had a different plan, and we continue to pray for a complete recovery.

We all know miracles from this board, and now we have witnessed a miracle in Zane.

In God, all things are possible.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
