Paul is right about Genestein. However, the amount generally consumed in food has not been shown to be of concern. In fact, soy foods have been given the "green light" even in those with a history of estrogen positive cancer for up to 2 servings per day. Soy supplements, which are often high in Genestein, are not recommended because of this estrogen-like effect.
