While I question about the bisphenol A linkage to breast cancer, I totally agree that cigarette tar is carcinogenous. However, the pathway of interaction between smoke and cancer cells is a big question. As we all know, many chain smokers never develop long cancer while many non-smokers contract lung cancer to an extent of over 20% lung cancer population. There is such an unknown factor that seems to over-ride our destinies.

On the safe side, smokers should quit as soon as possible. This will reduce one factor that can lead to all cancers.
