Re: Which vaccine trial seems the most promising?

HI Fern,
I am also in the Walter Reed Ae37/GP2 trial. I am a little behind 'lizbeth. I will have my last booster in September and am 4 years NED. Since I have a neg HLA-A2 factor, I am in the AS37 arm while 'lizabeth is in the GP2 arm. Of course, neither of us knows if we got the vaccine past the two mentioned above. In prior trials, folks like me who were neg to this blood factor were used as controls only because our bodies don't like to build antibodies and fight foreign invaders like people who have this factor. AE37 is supposed to "more vigoriously" stimulate our bodies to "stand up and fight." So far, positive results have been seen with this vaccine. It has also been used in a trial for prostate cancer.
