Hi there,

I would get a referral to a lymphedema specialist. Mine started with a spider bite (by the way, a good many cases start with just a bug bite!) and then progressed. I'm careful with my arm, especially cuts, etc. The specialist will give her exercises to do to prevent it and if there is any swelling beyond the bug bite, will fit her with a sleeve, etc.

Anyway, I am back to playing tennis but switch between arms.
