I talked to my trial coordinator today, and yes, the new trial is open but she didn't know where (except not at UCSF - which isn't a problem for you I'm sure!). As an aside, she also said they (at UCSF) were bummed because they could not add any more people to the other (current) trial because they are seeing great results. I hope you can find a way onto this new trial.
I don't think your current therapy would have to fail before you qualify for the new trial - you have had several treatments. Although of course you WANT your current therapy to work - and you never get off a winning horse!
