I just got home a bit ago from seeing my oncologist and he couldn't believe how sick I was. My blood counts weren't really that far off, so he thinks that I did pick up a bug, or the anti-nausea meds havn't been working. I was dehydrated so they gave me a couple of IV infusions and a different kind of nausea meds, and right now I feel better than I have in several days.
My oncologist did say that he doesn't think that he has ever seen a person getting TCH end up with as many side effects as I did. I even got the spilt nails and acne problem and I haven't had a zit for 25 years!!!!!!
I have to laugh about it I guess because nothing with me has been normal thoughout all of this. This is one for the record books. LOL
