Hubby 'confirmed' that it was from the movie 'Shindler's List'. One of the staff (prinsoner?) hinted to the killing-maniac commander that it would show more power for him to 'pardon' the prisoners than to 'kill' them.

We quote movie lines at home often because we love to watch movies (besides my reading 'everything' and his reading books on 'Golf' and motivational stuff. )

Of course the most often quoted lines are always: 'Frankly, my dear, I don't give a d...' (from him), 'God is my witness, I will never starve again...' (from me), and 'After all, tomorrow is another day...'(from both of us

. The heroine in 'Gone with the wind' was a 'survivor', it's probably fitting to mention it here for us survivors.
