I found the larger lump myself in the shower. I had never had a mammogram because of my age. When I had the mammogram it still did not show even though everyone could feel it. Showed on the ultrasound.
Dx IDC July 22, 2005, 37 yo at dx
Partial Mastectomy July 29, 2005, 2 lumps, 1.6cm IDC/.6cm benign fibroadenoma. Sentinal node biopsy - 3 removed/0 nodes positive
Her2+(100%)/ER+(30%)/PR+(23%)/Stage 1/Grade 3
Dx Papilary Thyroid Cancer Aug 15, 2005
Total Thyroidectomy Sept 15, 2005
A/C x 4
Taxol weekly x 12
Herceptin started Dec 05, now on every 3 weeks.
Lupron every month
Started Aromasin 2 weeks ago
Rads still to start (delayed due to scare on 6 mo mamo, which turned out to be nothing)
Thyrogen scan in Feb showed some remaining Thyroid cancer, need to do Radioactive Iodine in summertime.
