6 Year Stage IV Anniversary

It just hit me that today is the 6th year anniversary of my stage IV diagnosis,...lung mets. And I've been NED for most of it. I don't get on the board as much as I use to but I haven't forgotten my HER2 sisters. Life has been good. I've finally started doing what I've wanted to do all my life, work with animals. I started working at our local animal shelter and love it. When I first was diagnosed, I use to tell myself "if you have a job in heaven, I want to work with the animals". It took me six years to wake up and realize, I can still do it while i'm alive. So here's to many more years for all of us and doing the things we always have dreamed of doing.
