Re: Scans on Monday

Hi Amy
I don't know what to do this time.
Previous scan was 6 months gap. I am concerned that they are not telling me something- Last time one Doctor let slip about some pleural thickening that was a tiny bit bigger. First time it had been mentioned to me. I didn't query this as the concern had been with possible fracture in femur. Now wonder if this is why CT sooner! If I cancel - am I just delaying the inevitable!
The scan is also on same day as my treatment so have to go early morning for blood test. Then CT early afternoon. Then back to ward for treatment. Also might not get report until next treatment date in February!
My Daughter is getting married in April & if I am honest I do not want to change anything before wedding. I am due at the hospital the day after the wedding - which is bad enough! (Although I might ask to delay a week)
I realise this sounds silly but really don't want to be the " ill " Mother at the wedding.
