Nitewind, I am sorry this thread has caused you to lose some peace of mind. As Michka said, first of all most people who visit the boards are newcomers or those with recurrent issues. So we dont hear as much from people who have recovered and are without symptoms. Also, the information here is from many and varied sources and that needs to be considered before getting alarmed or discouraged. Personally, I am going to be happy with what I was told by a very well qualified oncologist who specializes in Survivorship. He wants to follow his patients for 10 years and if he considers me cured without need for any tests unless I show symptoms, that is good enough for me.
