Suzan,
Isn't it just wonderful to say 4 yrs since dx?
It can feel like you heard the bc dx. yesterday,
but the time does pass and we move forward.
When I turned my 4th year in April I thought about the beginning and how much has happened in the 4 yrs since dx.
We made new life decisions.
We learned how strong we are and can be for ourselves and others.
We learned we can live without hair.
We learned a new understanding of how precious each moment truly is.
We learned we had so many sisters!
Yes, who would have "thunk" that cancer can bring some great things into our lives.
Congrats Suzan and I wish you 40 more!
Big Hugs,
jean
