CoQ10 and D-Ribose?

My LVEF heart function has dropped and I'm trying to figure out ways to support my heart so it doesn't drop further.

On the Herceptin discussion forum, some folks have recommended fish oil, CoQ10 and D-Ribose to support the heart.

However, when I research D-Ribose and ATP production I'm a bit confused by the articles I find. I'm a lay reader so it's not clear to me whether these articles imply that more ATP would support cancer cells or bring about their death.

If anyone feels able to offer an informed opinion, I would be very grateful. Tanya - if you had time to weigh in, I would so much appreciate it.
