Wink Re: Vitamins and supplements for breast pain

I think it is good that some oncologists and other cancer specialists are finally waking up to the benefits of vitamins, supplements, herbs and foods. There are even integrative or naturopathic oncologists. It is important however to make sure there are no negative interactions between conventional medicines, vitamins, supplements, herbs and foods. You can check for interactions yourself at www.drugs.com and other sites.
Immediately after my diagnosis I decided that I wanted to treat the cancer with integrative medicine that combines conventional and naturopathic care. It was one of the best things I did for myself. My naturopath has been a valueable member of my medical team for many, many years.
