Re: Are hospitals deadlier in July?

Yup, Chelee, it is oh so true. We baby sat residents the whole first few months they arrived on the floors, green as grass, dumb as dirt, and arrogant as hell (well, only the surgical residents!). Any nurse who has worked in a teaching hospital will get the joke there! Good, informative post! Interestingly, the summer months, July in particular, is when many parents schedule elective surgeries for their children.
