Hi Billie, I was one of the early ones that went on Metformin awhile back in an effort to reduce recurrence. I stayed in it maybe 2-3 years and hover found any studies that supported its usefulness. Just back from my Onc visit, who confirmed that Metformin does not reduce recurrence rates.
however an overall reduction of fats and sugars in our diets are good.
