Re: how soon do you get your bone scan results?

I just had a bone scan not long ago and wanted the results of it asap since I've already been dx with bone mets prior to this. I called my onc's office the next day to see if they had them...and they did.

If your Mothers onc does not get back to you in a day or two...I would just call them and ask for the results. They really should have them. There is nothing much harder then sitting and waiting for results...so it never hurts to give the office a little reminder that your waiting.

11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
