Hi all; I was in the University of Washington/Seattle Her2 Vaccine w/Herceptin trial last spring/summer. This trial used a peptide vaccine, and volunteers had to be Stage IV and HLA-A2 positive. Although I did recurr later that summer, I still think the vaccine was a positive for me in several respects; I was able to contribute to the data pool, and it's possible the vaccine helped contain my recurrence to just the same lymph nodes I've been dealing with since my first recurrence in 2001.
