Don't get hung up on the stats! The doctors do not know how long any of us will live. Steph is correct in saying many are living longer and living well. I am one of those. With inflammatory breast cancer, Her2 positive, and with 44 postive nodes, I was given maybe, 2 years if I was lucky and chemo worked. With IBC most chemo's do not work or I think it is more of getting the right combo soon enough because IBC is so aggressive. Anyway, it has been 4 1/2 years for me and I am doing well.
