Sorry, I forgot two of your points. First, the platelet count (as well as white and red blood counts) normally do decrease with this combo. I have Neulasta shots at the onc's office when my white counts are too low. I never have to delay a treatment that way. They are expensive, but my insurance companies have never balked. I get them about once a month when my white cells cycle low. I much prefer this to the self-injected shots at home. You might ask your doctor about them.
